These are two covers of the Mix from the 2025-2026 school year. I designed them with the intent to draw readers in by using striking design choices.

These are the spreads I designed for a story about a local food pantry helping the community when SNAP benefits were cut. I designed it with the intent for the images to tell most of the story.

This spread is the first spread I designed of the school year. I made it to be the blueprint of what the magazine's style would be my senior year, using big helvetica headlines with unique typography.

These spreads accompany a story about a student who copes with mental health through climbing and art. The images on the first spread are split to portray her fractured mental state. The second spread has many images of the subject practicing her hobbies along with statistics to captivate the reader's eyes.

These last two spreads are about two students who found their place in theater when feeling lonely at school. I designed the pictures in photoshop to make it look as if they are being highlighted by a spotlight. The images are broken up outside of the spotlight while, the images inside the spotlight are highlighted, showcasing that the students feel their best on stage.
